It depends if they are falling out because they hit something or if they are falling out because his permanent teeth are coming in. It is the same pain level for a dog as a human. Bring the dog to the vet if he/she gets the tooth knocked out.

Well there could be a few reasons. For health issues or have cavities or something like that. Another reason could be if they are older then they might just be losing there teeth due to old age or even they are a puppy, or younger puppy/dog, and are getting their adult teeth in and are losing their puppy teeth. If you are not sure just call up your vet they would know for sure!!

No they don't get bad breath because their teeth fall out they get bad breath for the same reason we do, they need their teeth brushed. Or for a quicker way go to the store and buy some dog treats to help bad breath or just plain old dog mints!

A dog's teeth might get loose for the same reason a person's tooth might get loose: disease or injury.

Usually, dogs with a problem in their mouth will have very bad breath. Usually, it's also very painful for the dog, though dogs generally hide their pain, it doesn't mean that they aren't in pain. Your dog needs to be examined by a veterinarian.
