Do electrical engineers need a license?
In the USA:
Licensure. All 50 States and the District of Columbia require licensure for engineers who offer their services directly to the public. Engineers who are licensed are called professional engineers (PEs). This licensure generally requires a degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program, 4 years of relevant work experience, and completion of a State examination. Recent graduates can start the licensing process by taking the examination in two stages. The initial Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination can be taken upon graduation. Engineers who pass this examination commonly are called engineers in training (EITs) or engineer interns (EIs). After acquiring suitable work experience, EITs can take the second examination, called the Principles and Practice of Engineering exam. Several States have imposed mandatory continuing education requirements for relicensure. Most States recognize licensure from other States, provided that the manner in which the initial license was obtained meets or exceeds their own licensure requirements. Many civil, mechanical, and chemical engineers are licensed PEs. Independently of licensure, various certification programs are offered by professional organizations to demonstrate competency in specific fields of engineering.

In most countries electrical engineers need to be licensed.
Yes they do.
they told me i needed i license so yes...
in every country there is a need for electrical engineers!
No. God no. What kind of show do you think Electrical Engineers are running?
Electrical engineers do a few odd projects. The main projects that electrical engineers do is wiring houses and buildings.
Electrical engineering is complex, vast wide subject. Electrical Engineers can contribute in design and manufacturing electrical devices, components, machines, power system equipment like generators, transformers, transmission system. They can involve in installation, commissioning trouble shooting, maintenance of electrical machines. Electricity is in every sphere of mankind. You need electrical engineers every where.
Yes, if you want to work in the states
Electrical engineers regulation are the do and don't that govern the profertion.
something that electrical engineers invented was the battery.
Institution of Electrical Engineers ended in 2006.
A handyman needs a license to perform certain duties in TN. For example, they need a electricians license to do electrical work.
American Institute of Electrical Engineers was created in 1884.
Chamber of Electrical Engineers of Turkey was created in 1954.
The IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) was formed in 1963 by the merger of the Institute of Radio Engineers (IRE, founded 1912) and the American Institute of Electrical Engineers (AIEE, founded 1884).
In May 2008, the average yearly wages of electrical engineers were $85,350. Electronics engineers earned an average of $88,670.
yes if you want a better chance to getting the job You are not an engineer with out an engineering degree. Most states require engineers to be licensed.
Electrical engineers typically spend their day planning, testing, manufacturing, installing, and writing instructions for projects. Electrical engineers also spend time determining the feasibility and practicality of a project.
It depends what type of engineering you want to get into. Electrical engineers will use programming.
Electrical Engineers study and use Electrical Engineering, which is the theory and practice of all things related to the practical use of electrical energy. A closely related topic is Electronics Engineering.
You need a license for some general contracting work. Most handyman jobs do not require a license. Most electrical repairs and roofing needs to be done by a licensed contractor.
The main role of electrical engineers in construction projects is to supervise the electricians in handling all the electrical works considering the safety and quality requirements. The electrical engineer in the construction site also reads and studies the electrical plans (usually done by electrical design engineers) and implement it in the site and sometimes do necessary actions whether to correct or to improve the design. They coordinate with other electrical engineers in the implementation of… Read More
Electrical engineers in India earn a rate of Rs 144,000. In the United States electrical engineers earn $70,000 per year.
Electrical engineers are famous for making contributions to electrical engineering. Some of these people are John Bardeen, Alexander Graham Bell and Alfred Rosling Bennet.
Electrical Engineers are like doctors and lawyers, there are all kinds of specialties. Some are power engineer, analog circuit designers, digital and computer designers, microwave engineers, transmission line engineers, motor and generator engineers, semiconductor engineers, solar power engineers, wind turbine engineers and on and on.
Engineers need to be able to solve problems... If there is no problems, there are no need for engineers, therefore no jobs for engineers.
A BSEE degree from an accredited University or College is the starting point. From there you can pursue advanced degrees or obtain a Professional Engineers license by passing a test.
I get Electrical contractor license, so what can in do.. and what formalities for..
Basically working conditions for electrical engineers is good. Most of the work of electrical engineers are done at their offices as they plan or plan to improve new systems. Many times, however, the engineers will be working at a construction site to make sure their wiring blueprints are being installed correctly. Research done in the field of electrical engineering will normally be done at their offices.
There are many types of engineers such as: aerospace engineers, canal engineers, chemical engineers, civil engineers, electrical engineers, environmental engineers, genetic engineers, industrial engineers, materials engineers, mechanical engineers, structural engineers, systems engineers, just to name a few. Some of which do study cars.

international electrical engine engineers and institute of electrical component
To construct electrical systems upon which we base modern society.
New York State does not license "handymen." The state may require a business license if you are conducting a business, and you may need a plumbing license or electrician's license if you will do plumbing or electrical work.
No, Not if the work to be done does not involve wiring/electrical work or plumbing.
Who said that electrical engineers deals with bulk current flow and electronics engineers deals with electrons emission?
A: I DID electrical is a study of current flow. electronics is a study of electrons emission.

About four years.
The "IEEE" is the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.
The benefits that electrical engineers receive vary by company. However, engineers typically have health insurance, retirement packages and earn vacation time when they work for an engineering firm.
What a strange question. Electrical engineers wear normal clothes, just like anyone else.
It's been about 60 years since I was in engineering school but at that time civil engineers were not required to take any electrical engineering courses.
