Ferrets shed their fur two times a years for the seasons - spring and winter. Depending on the climate of where you live, for example my ferrets stay indoors in a temperature controlled climate and the weather where I live is usually mild all year, so they don't really shed that much. If you live in a climate where the weather goes from one extreme to the other, you might see a full coat change in them.
