False. Flatworms or Platyhelminthes are acoelomates. A coelom is a cavity in the mesoderm of Bilateria (animals with true brains, nerves,...). Since flatworms don't have this cavity, it doesn't have a coelom and is called an acoelomate.

You spelt it wrong.

I think they do, from what I recall. As long as you're talking about the beginnings of a "tube"ish thing.

Do mollusks have a pseudocoelom?

No, mollusks have a true coelom instead of a pseudocoelom. The coelom is a part of mollusks and annelids that is a cavity within the mesoderm that is filled with fluid.

Does pseudocoelom has same functions as a true coelom?

Yes, they have the same function; they are different only in they way they formed

Do segmented worms have no coelom a pseudocoelom or a true coelom?

Yes, they do. They have true coeloms, i.e. their coeloms (body cavities) are lined with mesodermal (referring to the embryonic germ layer which forms the muscles, nervous system, and generally the "meat" of the body") cells forming its inner lining.

What kind of animals are acoelmates?

Acoelomates is the name given to animaks which lack a coelom. Coelom is true body cavity which is formed in mesoderm by different methods e.g. schizocoelous or enterocoelous.Coelom is lined by mesodermal epithelium . Phylum Platyhelminthis is included in acoelomates. Pseudocoelomates possess a pseudocoelom while coelomates possess a true coelom.

Do roundworms have no coelom a pseudocelom or a true coelom?

Coelom. It is partitioned by septa, which is a divider between segments of the worm.

What is the significance of coelom in the classification of animals?

The presence or absence of a coelom (body cavity) is a key characteristic in the classification of animals. Animals can be categorized as acoelomates (no body cavity), pseudocoelomates (body cavity between mesoderm and endoderm), or coelomates (body cavity within mesoderm). This classification is important in understanding the evolutionary relationships and anatomical differences among animal groups.

How are earthworms and ascaris similar?

Annelids are segmented whereas roundworms are not. Annelids have a true coelom while roundworms have a pseudocoelom. Annelids have a more complex nervous system than roundworms. Annelids have a more complex circulatory system than roundworms.

Do cnideria have a coelom?

yes it do hav a true body cayity or a coelom.

What is true coelom in Metazoans?

True coelom is body cavity lined by mesothelium on both sides as in chordates .

How are earthworms and roundworms body cavities different?

an earth worm lives in the soft, damp soil underground digging tunnels like a mole. roundworms are parasites that live inside your body and can kill you

Does coelom first appeared in the annelids?

It was appeared in nematodes.Annelides had first true coelom.

The body cavity is a true coelom why?

The body cavity is a true coelom because it is lined by a layer of coelomic epithelium of mesodermal origin.
