Yes. If you believe that you have a flea infestation, take a small table lamp with the shade removed. Turn the lamp on and tip it to lean over a pie plate with dish soap and water (mixed 2:1) in the bottom. Leave the room for a couple hours. When you return, if you have fleas, you will find little flea carcasses on the pie plate.

fleas dont sleep at night because thats when they are active and biting you.

Fleas don't sleep per say. They go into a resting period until they feel vibration, heat or movement from a source.
