If they are in captivity then yes they will eat , but if they are wild they hibernate because it gets to cold and all the food they eat, cricketts, mealworms, and bugs, those all die or aren't around so the frogs have to hibernate or theu would most likley die.
Frogs don't sleep during the winter. They go into hibernation, which means they are dormant for long periods of time.
if you are worried for toads/frogs go out and try to catch one and put it in a tank
That greatly depends on the type of frog and its habitat.

Frogs hibernate during winter months in all states. They burrow themselves in the dirt and sleep until spring time.
Yes! yes they can. Some frogs bury themselves in the mud to hide from predators and to keep warm. they enter a very deep sleep
Some animals sleep through the winter -- those animals are called hibernators. The long sleep through the winter is called hibernation.
Nothing. Frogs hibernate. It's called estivation. They are dug into the mud or the land and have gone to sleep for the winter. When Spring arrives they'll wake up and enjoy the weather.

Frogs do not hybridize in winter. I do not think you know what hybridize means! I think you have confused it with hibernate?
well like most animals frogs hibernate during the winter. most species hide under rocks and mud or burrow under the ground. when looking for them think like a frog, where would i go in the winter? though looking for frogs in the winter is much harder than the spring and summer. and is extremely rare to see them unless you REALLY LOOK.
They sleep on lily pads and breathe out of breathing holes they're ears
Winter sleep is called hibernation. Hibernation is when animals (such as bears) sleep for multiple months in order to conserve energy during the winter.
By the late summer months, the tadpoles will be fully grown frogs and the best place to find then is a large pond or small lake with lots of grass and stones. The quieter it is, the better your chances of finding one are. frogs rock!
