Wild guinea-pigs don't live in the rainforest. There's not enough food there on the ground level for them, as they like grasses and grains. They're more likely to live in open, grassy areas, and find shelter by hiding within grass tussocks or even living in burrows abandoned by other animals.

Guinea Pigs do not live anywhere in the wild anymore. They are only pets. They are, however, believed to have lived in South America before they became extinct in the wild. So, do they live in the deciduous forest? No. Where do they live then? Your pet cage.

Answer 2

Actually, guinea pigs do live in the wild, but these wild guinea pigs are very different from domesticated guinea pigs. Regardless, they don't live in forests, but on open, grassy plains, where they sometimes shelter in burrows that have been abandoned by other animals.
