Depends on whom they work for. If they're in private practice, any holiday they want. If they work for a firm, it's in their employment agreement, and if they work for the government, it's in the contract. In addition to the Federal legal holidays.

∙ 11y agoYes, lawyers do get holidays if they are not on a case. Otherwise, yes they do. (Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, etc.)

No one is obligated to seek your services as a lawyer, and there are a lot of lawyers to choose from. At the present time, there is an over supply. We are drowning in lawyers.
What days of the week do lawyers work?
Lawyers work all the time. They dont have a clock, and most wish that they did. Lawyers and job dissatisfaction are the same word. Then, they do something that counts. Somebody else's life. It gets changed and something happens, and for a second or so, lawyers get gratification. It lasts a few seconds, and then the next day begins. Emily Diskson said that life was so daily. People complaine, and lawyers are supposed to fix it. Life is so daily I suppose the idea is to live well and die poor.
