Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) can eat meat if they want to. The official teaching of the Church is that God provides animals for meat, and that meat is to be eaten in winter and times of need. Some Mormons eat meat and some choose to be vegetarian, it's all just a personal preference.
