No. It greatly depends upon their order and what is the established practice for living. For example, certain nuns who live and work in poor countries certainly don't have convents to go home to every evening.

There is a small cloistered convent in the Vatican City, called Mater Ecclesiae, and it was founded by Pope John Paul II in 1994. The community in residence changes every five years.
