depending on the family and personal preferences of the mother/teacher, one can take exams in homeschooling. many exams. lots of exams. too many. as a homeschooler myself, i can testify to the many subject tests and various other tortures i have been put through. generally tests are required throughout highschool to mark the student's progress in his/her work. these are often included in a portfolio which is shown to a high school evaluator at the end of a school year to prove that yes, homeschoolers do just as much work as the rest of you. maybe even more. moms seem to like tests. Personally, the person above, whoever they are, must hate homeschooling to say they have been put through torture. I am also a homeschooler and even though sometimes it can be hard, it takes the stress off having to go to highschool and have all those extra things to worry about. For example, at home you don't have to worry yourself thinking about all the unuseful things like, oh, is my hair ok, do i look pretty enough? and all that silly stuff. At home you can just relax and not worry about what other people think about you because you're simply the only one there. Aside from your mother or whom ever teaches you. But they see you all the time anyway and their family. I personally love being homeschooled and if you're having a problem with the tests or something, simply just talk to your parent or guardian and get them to help you a bit more. No problems.
the money is not what you should be concerned with. The homeschooling programs out there are all christian based and that could prevent your child from learning science based material.
No, it is considered homeschooling.
is there any homeschooling that is not online
Check with the local public school(s), they typically offer homeschooling options using their curriculum. They take care of the legalities and paperwork too.
No Homeschooling is amazing! Especially if you do FLVS, you can work at your own pace and it is so much easier than traditional school. Take it from me, a current homeschooler who was a seventh grader in August and is now a ninth grader since March, homeschooling is the best that you could ever do!!!
