No. As a nation, we do not celebrate Thanksgiving in Ireland.
Thanksgiving, which is an American holiday, celebrates the coming together of the Native Americans and Pilgrims to celebrate the first harvest. It has subsequently become a day of "giving thanks"- This is a purely American holiday. Some other countries have different forms of Thanksgiving, but not this particular one. There may also be other forms of "being thankful' here but nothing linked back to the American origins of Thanksgiving. Some Americans may celebrate it but it will be based on their heritage and have nothing to do with Ireland. It is not a national holiday.
As an example of a different celebration of thankfulness, another contributor has posted the following:
My family is from the village Gormanston in County Meath, Ireland and they celebrate Thanksgiving every year and they were born in that very village. It was a story I was told at a young age about how a ship from Dublin saved Thanksgiving in the 1600s by my grandfather that I know this is not true. Many of his friends celebrate the Holiday together.
(Note that the American holiday of Thanksgiving was not even known in the 1600s, so there is clearly no link between the two.)
