It all depends on what type of pool pump you need; if it is a standard erect above ground pool pump, it can cost anywhere from $75 to $300. But if it is a in ground pool that needs a new pump, it is going to be thousands of dollars for a good one that won't break easily and the installation is also costly.

What exactly are you looking for? What is the nature of the problem with the pump? Restate your question and you may get an answer.
Probably not. Most pool pumps are designed to circulate water and don't have enough "lift" to pull the water from the bottom. You can rent a pump and hoses from the local DIY store or pool store. Assuming you don't have trash in the pool. If so you'll need to rent a trash pump from the local rental center.
Pool center has diagrams of different pumps and filtering sytems.
