There are many fascinating reasons. Well, during the morning, there are less predators. This will keep them safe if they eat grass out in the open. Also, its dark out early in the morning. Nothing can see them. Oh yeah, do you ever wonder where rabbits get water from? Well, in the morning, they lick up the dewdrops on the plants they eat!

∙ 14y agoAll rabbits are nocturnal and will be more active at night. Rabbits sleep whenever and wherever it is quiet enough to sleep and they feel safe enough to take a snooze. They also like to have it dark so whenever you leave or when it is night throw a light blanket over it's cage but leave a small corner so it can breath... rabbits will sleep in the middle of the day, dark or not. Usually if it is dark they are up checking things out. Be careful covering your rabbit's cage especially in the summer. Rabbits overheat easily in the summer.
