sun
The last answer is absolutely correct. However I'd like to add a that full sun means 6-8 hours or more. Depending on your climate there are a couple more items of interest to consider. Where I live in NC the climate in summer can be pretty gruesome on everything. A moist ground from yesterdays rain can be evaporated by the early afternoon, then by the time the evening sun (which here is pretty rough on roses) and can dry them out which I think causes stress to my roses. I try to place them where they have sun from sun rise through early evening, say around 3 or so which is about 7 hours direct sunlight. I have tested all shade and it doesn't work at all, they have to be in direct sunlight, however I have many which are out of the sun by 3PM and they perform as good if not better than my all day sunny plants.
Full sunlight for best results but a rose will survive in partial shade.
or a minimum of four to six hours of direct sun per day is essential for the plant to grow and produce flowers
about 4-6 hours for best bloom also a full days indirect sun works too.
Mostly all roses need sunlight daily for 6 hours to grow well.
Wild roses need at least six hours of sunlight a day. The preferred term for them is species rose. There are over 100 different wild roses, each with five petals.
Roses need morning sun, but can survive in full sun.
roses need sunlight everyday...
no, it needs wat too much water and i doubt it would be able to cope with the harsh sun even if given enough water
