A skunk will eat baby rabbits and full grown rabbits. I just saw a video of a skunk and rabbit fighting. The skunk bit the rabbit and killed it. It then proceeded to drag away the rabbit. Im not sure the rabbit decided to fight, it could have easily ran away. This was in February winter snowy weather, so I assume the rabbit was not protecting babies.

∙ 13y agoYes, I've seen it with my own eyes. We found a 2 young rabbits in a shallow depression under the bunk of our pop-up camper. During the night we were awaken by a shrill scream. By the time I got there the skunk had killed one of the young and was eating it. I suppose that it was nature a work but it took a while before I got back to sleep.

Why do daddy skunks eat their babies?
