In addition, for clarification there is the Electricity at Work Regulations which are under the umberella of the Health and Safety at Work Act and the Institute of Electrical Engineers Memorandum of Guidance for Electrical Installations (17th edition) which act as an Approved Code of Practice (ACoP). The ACoP is not in itself law but will be relied heavily upon by the courts as Best Practice.
