No. I was originally told that every freshman has to live on campus, but once I got here, I found out that a lot of students live in apartments. The good thing about living in an apartment is that you can have a car during your freshman year. In the dorms, you can only have a car if you have a specific reason such as working at home or student teaching. Living in dorms for your first year can be beneficial because you get to meet a lot of people, and the dorms are really close to campus and all the food courts. Plus you get a lot of free things while living in the dorms. Every week, we got some sort of free food and there are ALWAYS event going on. I suggest to pick a dorm other than Meredith and Cary. They are very tiny... 17' by 9'. Living in a dorm such as Harrison or Cary gives you a lot more room. However you have to walk an extra 5 minutes for those dorms.
No, many dorms offer single rooms, however, they are often hard to get.
yes, usually
It is optional.
There are to many variables there like what field of study. To get a good value one may choose a close college so they can stay at home instead of a dorm and spend less.
The colloquial term for a student room is a dormitory. This can also be known as a dorm room. They are mainly in colleges or universities. College kids stay in them.
Living in a college dorm can be very inexpensive compared to living off campus. Some dorms also offer meal plans in addition to the cost of your room. Rates will vary depending on the college you attend.
I don't believe you can, however there are co-ed dorms on campus. If you really want to live together then I recommend getting a place to stay off campus.
Yes they can
It most definitely is, whether or not they are leaving for school. Most dorm desks come unfurnished and most home desks are already a mess, and it is very important for a college student to stay organized, especially during their first year (that way they get in the habit early).
Yes you must stay on campus in a dorm duing you freshman year at the university of Arkansas at fayitville.

Satyriasis is a sexual disorder, not something you stay in college to do or learn.
