yes they can, cause they help take of their babies

Every rabbit should have it's own cage (space). In the wild rabbits compete for territory. There has to be enough space for everyone or fighting will start. Does do not take care of each other's babies unless you foster them to a doe and she doesn't realize they are not hers. She will kick improperly fostered babies out of the nest.

yes you should be able to as long as they get used to each other. they may start to fight if they do just separate them its not that hard

loving owner of baby dwarf bunny

After 8 weeks of age they are no longer babies and should have their own cage. They can and will try to breed at 3 months of age. AND they will fight ad that is not pretty either, slit ears, hunks of ears missing, missing fur and bellies layed wide open. Does will castrate bucks and they will usually die from loss of blood.

first answer: no

second answer: Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't.

First of all, you have to spay and neuter them so they don't reproduce, and for many other beneficial reasons (see link below).

Then you have to bond them. When rabbits are "bonded" that means they like each other and don't fight. The bonding process should be gradual: if it goes well, at least two weeks; if it isn't love and first sight, it can take months! Rabbits are social animals but, just like humans, sometimes they just don't like each other.

The bonding process goes better when you follow certain standard procedures. See the related questions below for more information and links.

You should separate the buck right after the mate. This is because the buck will want to re-mate with the doe. Also make sure the buck is far away from the kits!

Yes they need to be separated because the father male could eat the babies . I have a male that would eat the babies before I could get to them not knowing that the female was pregnant !

Do rabbits have to get neutured?

They don't have to, but getting them neutered can calm them down a lot, it's also best to get them neutered if you're putting two male rabbits together, or a male and a female. Two male rabbits can still fight if you get them neutered, it just lowers the chance. And it's obvious what will happen if you put a male and female together...

It is usually not advised to keep two male rabbits together, especially if there are females nearby. However, if the pair are acquired together as youngsters, like littermates, and neutered before they reach sexual maturity, the chances for successful cohabitation greatly increases.

What happens if you put two male rabbits and one female together?

The male rabbits will probably fight and possibly kill each other. They quite possibly will neuter each other. No rabbits should be caged together. Rabbits are very territorial and need their own space. The female WILL also get tired of being bugged by males and can turn on them and fight the male also sometimes castrating (or neutering) the males which is why you should watch your rabbits when you are attempting to breed them.
