This question is an opinion...my opinion is yes.
If you say....
No- You may not like him because you may like more bad men. Angel is cursed with a soul, therefor he is good.
Yes- He is kind, sweet, and personally...hot
Angel only hurts Buffy when he loses his soul. This only happens once in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, after Buffy and Angel sleep together which makes Angel have one moment of true happiness which breaks the curse. Willow curses Angel again in the season final of Buffy the Vampire Slayer season two. Buffy sees him cursed again, but she had to kill him to save the world. It was very sad as after, Buffy ran away to Los Angeles. When Angel has no soul, he tortures Buffy, her friends, and family. He kills Jenny Calendar who was part of the group who originally cursed him.
This is only up to ones own personal preferences.
I could tell you that Angel is way better. You might agree, but then again, you might not.
If you are easily influenced by other peoples opinion, then anything I say would be true.
David Boreanaz; he is currently on FOX's anthropological hit TV series Bones alongside Emily Deschanel.
Sort of. It is a follow on (spin off) on the character Angel. Events in Angel season one happen around the same time as Buffy season four.
yes came back in the last episode to try and help Buffy but she sent him to fight on another front
" I'm getting the brushoff for captain peroxide" angel 7 22
Yes, he appears in "Forever", episode 17 of season 5. He is there to comfort Buffy after her mother dies.
Angel is a vampire with a soul.
He is buffy's boyfriend for a period of time.
David Boeranaz
Angel never bites Buffy's mom. Darla bites her, then throws Joyce at Angel, and Buffy walks in on Angel holding her mother, while her mother has bite marks on her neck. Buffy just thought that Angel had feed off of her mother.
In Chosen, Buffy and Angel discuss Buffy's future and discuss whether the future was with Spike. This was also continued in Angel only with Spike showing off to Angel about his relationship with Buffy
Buffy appeared in two episodes of the first season of Angel, "I Will Remember You" and "Sanctuary". (Angel appears in 5 episodes of Buffy from season 4 onward.)She was mentioned several times relating to Angel's past, as well as her death at the end of Buffy season 5. Footage of her from Buffy episodes is also used on occasion. At the end of Angel season 5, there is an episode where Spike and Angel track Buffy down in Rome to save her from a demon. However, the Buffy continuation comic reveals that this is merely a decoy Buffy.
We never see Buffy in La in the show Buffy, but we did see her there in the spin off Angel, twice in the episodes "I will remember you." and "Sanctuary."

There is a Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie that came out before the show. But there is no Angel movie. == == No

False
No they do not

Angel and Buffy were togather till season 3 or 4. Then Angel left on buffys graduation day to L.A. to protect her. Then buffy falls inlove with spike in season 6. Buffy obviously loves both Angel and Spike, but its Angel she truly loves. I hope this answer isn't biased or anything, for I am a Bangel shipper(though I like Spuffy too).
They do sometimes, but it is not essential to watch one show to understand the other. For example, at the end of Season 4 of Angel, Angel is given an amulet to deliver to Buffy so she can win an important battle. When Angel arrives in Buffy's show, he gives it to her, with little needed explanation as to what happened in Angel's show. By watching both, it's definitely easier to understand plot points, but again, it is not completely essential. Anyway, Angel started during Buffy's 4th season, so the seasons coincide as such, "Buffy" and "Angel" respectively: 4-1, 5-2, 6-3, 7-4, then Angel's last season, 5, happens after "Buffy" has ended.
