As long as you ride your ATV, ATC, UTV on your property - that's your business and liability. The minute you cross onto public land, or cross a public roadway, you must be in possession of a valid drivers permit.

In UK at least a full B1 you cannot ride a quad on a motorbike licence.you just need a full UK drivers license to drive a quad (if your in the UK), you also don't need to wear a helmet as its not a legal issue :D

Well, you don't need a license period to ride a quad off road. Quads are not street legal, and unless you're on public roads, you can drive whatever you want, wherever you want (at that point though, trespassing etc. becomes a concern.)
