I had my tonsils removed two weeks ago and I am only just able to sing without it hurting and before I had them removed I couldn't sing but I couldn't not sing if you get what I an saying. Now though, wow it's not exactly what I call pop star singers voice, but much much better. Its like a whole different voice (a much better one)
Yes It depends how good you are with them, and without them.
No everybody has tonsils. But if they get infected then you're sick. I had my tonsils taken out because they were infected not everyone gets infected tonsils but its better if you get tonsilitus (infected tonsils) when you're a kid because its more dangerous to get then surgically removed when you're older.
lingual tonsils
Palatine tonsils and adenoids are NOT synonymous. Palatine tonsils, sometimes called faucial tonsils, are found at the back of the throat. Adenoids are the pharyngeal tonsils, located in the back of the nasal cavity.
There are FIVE pairs of tonsils in the pharynx or throat, though the exact number will differ depending on the textbook:Nasal (lymphatic tissue in the nose)Adenoids/Pharangeal/Luschka (nasopharynx)Palatine (oropharynx)Tubal (pharynx side of the auditory tubes)Lingual (oropharynx)Note: the cerebellar tonsil is a structure in the brain.
No, if you have no tonsils then you cannot have inflamed tonsils.
No he doesn't he wouldn't be able to sing
I am o professional singer. I got my tonsils taken out last year and I sound better. I don't believe it affects you. I had the worst condition possible and my voice was being held back. It takes a while to get over the sugery... but for me my voice was better with out! Best of luck!- betterthanyou102
Tonsils aren't essential to life.
No everybody has tonsils. But if they get infected then you're sick. Yes.
His tonsillitis and the enlarged tonsils it causes may have disappeared. His tonsils may now have shrunk to their normal smaller size.
No, but your tone and timbre will change which means that you will sing differently. _________________________________________________________________
They can - tonsils are part of the throat, but do not comprise all of your throat. Since even if your tonsils are taken out, the rest of your throat remains, so you can still acquire an abscess on it.
Strep throat
That's much more likely to be because of your singing technique than your tonsils. See a voice/singing coach instead.
Sing ofc
