no it does not. not many fast food places hire 14 year olds. if your 14 and looking for a job, look for small buisnesses or concession stands. at small buisnesses you can get a job by helping out or whatever.

In Minnesota, you can work at Burger King at 14 years old. But you are limited in what you can do and when you can work. For instance, you cannot work in the kitchen or with any knives. You can take and serve orders, bus tables, and clean the dining room area. You also cannot work past 7 during the school year or past 9 during the summer. You are limited to 18 hours per week during the school year also and no more than 3 hours per day.

Due to federal labor laws, most companies do not hire until someone is 16, but you can always ask at the restaurant. They can hire 14-year-olds, but usually don't because of restrictions on how many hours they can work and other restrictions.

I'm not sure about Connecticut, but I just called a McDonald's in Virginia to get a job, and they said you have to be 16 (and I'm 15), so chances are, no.
