I don't think he loves her because he still likes Leafpool. Leafpool chose to go back to her clan with caused the "Break up"..... I think Crowfeather still truly likes her. Im kind of sorry for Nightcloud and Breezepelt because Crowfeather is sooooo mean to them....

In the latest Warriors book: Night Whispers, it shows that Crowfeather still likes Leafpool, because he defended her against his mate Nightcloud, with Nightcloud saying that Crowfeather only has one son.

In my opinoin Crowfeather doesn't love Nightcloud. He only loves Leafpool (and Feathertail) Crowfeather only became mates with Nightcloud to prove his loyalty, not because he loves her. With leafpool on the other hand he is madly in love with, and only says he doesn't care about her to try to convince himself that he doesn't love leafpool but he loves her to much to stop loving her.
