It's been hinted that eragon will get married to arya, but she keeps denying him, so we don't know if Paolini is actually going to make it happen. The fourth book comes out, in like, two years.

∙ 15y agoit is unlikely that eragon would get married, because for a mate, it would have to be imortal, such as the elves, and the elves don't get married. it would have to be a dragon rider, because the bond between him and saphira would transfer. so, the only way he'll get married if the next rider is a human woman, and i think the next rider will be arya
