All US states and territories honor each other's requests for extradition - there are no 'safe-haven' states - it is impossible to say whether a particular state will choose to extradite you or not, there are simply too many variables - usually it depends on the offense and the seriousness of it - most states will USUALLY extradite for felony offenses.

All US states and territories honor each other's requests for extradition - there are no 'safe-haven' states - It is impossible to know with certainty whether a particular state will choose to extradite you for a particular offense, or not, there are simply too many variables. It may depend, in part, on the offense and the seriousness of it, and/or how badly they want you returned - most states WILL extradite for felony offenses and crimes of violence.

Yes and no. Florida is not charged with extradition even though it is a state probationer. It is up to the individual counties sheriff. Over the years extradition has narrowed because of one factor...cost. The sheriffs budget is responsible for all costs of bring their counties probationer back to the state of Florida for prosecution. What does that mean. The majority of probation violators and not extradited. ie: Felony 3* probationer probably has a 'Get out of Jail Card'. The counties States Attorney sometimes has to get involved to insist upon extradition. As a side note the sheriff enters the warrant into FCIC but often does not enter it inot NCIC so an active warrant for the arrest is not even known outside the state of Florida. My answer has been to many out of state violators, "Do not 10 years from now forget your out standing warrant in Florida and bring your family to the state of vacation." Your family may go home with out you.

Michigan is the least of your worries. If Florida finds out you've been charged with a new crime, even if it's in another state, they will very likely revoke your felony probation themselves.
