The only thing God hates is sin. God does not hate Satan nor anyone. It was their sin that He hates. To say that God hates any of His creation is like saying that He hates himself. Satan embraced his sin and became one with his sin so therefore Satan became sin. That is why God's wrath is now directed upon him since Satan and sin became one. By the way Satan has only one sin and that is pride. All of his other sins are just a by product of this sin. There is no forgiveness in pride since pride cannot kneel down and ask for forgiveness. So therefore Satan is doomed for hell.

Much as we'd like to think God 'loves everything', The Bible does not say this. God can indeed 'hate'(Psalms 139:21, 22; Isaiah 26:10/Psalms 21:8, 9; Ecclesiastes 3:1, 8), but God's four main qualities are Love, Justice, Wisdom and Power, so whatever he feels is carefully balanced.

**(Deuteronomy 12:31-32NIV)"You must not worship the LORD your God in their way, because in worshiping their gods, they do all kinds of detestable things the LORD hates. They even burn their sons and daughters in the fire as sacrifices to their gods. See that you do all I command you; do not add to it or take away from it."

**God approved of Jesus who HATED wickedness(Psalms 45:7; Hebrews 1:9)

God HATES all wickedness and asks us to do the same Psalms 101:3; 119:104, 128; Proverbs 8:13; 13:5).

In defence of God, historians say there was no unified military invasion of Canaan, and that there is evidence that the cities were not defeated or destroyed in the Late Bronze Age. The story was a legend created in later centuries, and there was no conquest and no genocide.
