There is no free oxygen in the atmosphere of Venus, but a vast amount exists bound as carbon dioxide in the dense atmosphere of the planet. There is likely substantial oxygen that exists as mineral oxides on and under the surface.
Venus has some ozone, as does Mars. Not enough to protect the planet's surface from UV-B, however. Venus is optically thick from "sulfuric acid", so not much UV-B will get through.
See "Why don't the other planets have an ozone layer?"
Any planet with some oxygen-containing gas in its atmosphere, has some ozone too. Venus and Mars both have some detectable ozone.
no it does not have enough oxygen in its atmosphere to have one you plonker
No, there is not enough oxygen in its atmosphere. Without one the radiation from the sun will reach the planet in a higher quantity than earth (which has an ozone layer.)
Jupiter has little in the way of oxygen containing gases in its atmosphere. So, no. See the related questions section below.
Yes, earth has a ozone layer. It protects us from harmful UV rays of the sun.
Earth has a layer of ozone. It is present as the ozone layer.
Earth and Venus have a protective ozone layer. These planets have ozone molecules in ozone layer.
Earth is not becoming thinner. The ozone layer is.
Ozone is a layer of importance. It is the reason for life on earth.
Yes, a thick layer of ozone covers the entire earth. This layer is called ozone layer and is present in the stratosphere region of atmosphere.
Earth has a layer of ozone. It is present as the ozone layer.
The stratosphere has ozone in it. It is present as ozone layer.
Earth's ozone layer is the layer of ozone molecules surrounding the earth. it is present in the stratospheric region of the atmosphere.
The ozone layer is located in the Stratosphere.
ozone layer
Ozone is the earth's thinner layer. It only contains ozone.
Yes, the earth's atmosphere contains a layer of ozone. This layer is called ozone layer and is present in the stratospheric region of the atmosphere.
Earth and Venus have a protective ozone layer. These planets have ozone molecules in ozone layer.
The layer that affects the earth's surface is ozone. Ozone is a layer of importance.
The stratosphere layer of the earth's atmosphere contains the ozone layer. This ozone layer protects against the harmful ultraviolet radiations of the earth.
The ozone layer of the earth is a very protective and important layer. This layer is a boon at the atmospheric level.
Ozone layer is a pool of ozone molecules in the atmosphere. It does not leave earth because of gravity.
