∙ 9y agoFrom my own experience, seeing my grandmother fuss over having to pay for certain diabetic medication, Medicare does not cover all medication fees. it only covers an amount. Depending on the amount of medication you are receiving, you will typically pay $4 per 30day supply.

∙ 10y agoYes, medicare currently covers the cost of diabetic testing strips. It will also cover the cost of a blood glucose meter, lancet devices as well as lancets, and glucose control solutions. Medicare will even cover therapeutic shoes and socks for diabetics. They do not, however cover the cost insulin.
