She caught a lot of colds and sicknesses. But she has always pulled through. She probably wont die soon, because then the clan will have no elders except Purdy.
(Mousefur fact: She wasn't always the cranky cat you think she is. When her brother, Runningwind, was murdered, she lost hope in life and got cranky and stubborn. So therefor that's why she never got a mate. But she's just sick at heart. If you read about her before Rising Storm, she's super nice. Although, she did soften up a bit after Longtail died)

Mousefur and Longtail have a complicated relationship that fluctuates between friendship and rivalry throughout the Warriors series. They often bicker and challenge each other but deep down care for one another as fellow warriors of ThunderClan.

∙ 12y agoThe Erin's say she is going to die in the next book and if they don't make her die in that book, the sixth book. (along with a cat we thought would become leader, not sure if it's Brambleclaw or somebody else.)

∙ 12y agoLongtail died when a tree was falling down onto the Thunderclan camp, but Mousefur refuses to leave a mouse in the elders den, so longtail goes to get it for her but gets crushed by the tree. Briarpaw ( who becomes Briarlight ) rushes to stop him, bu her back legs get pinned by the tree and breaks her back, but does not die., but she will never recover, or feel her hind half ever again. Millie is devastated.

Please go back and reread the book. I will still answer this question. It was all the elders that were in Thunderclan. Almost all of them, except Longtail (Firestar told Longtail that he was to young to be left behind). As soon as they got to the new Thunderclan camp, Mousefur requested to become an elder, which she was granted.
Who did Longtail love?
Dovepaw senses a tree is falling into the clearing. Thunderclan evacuates the camp, but Mousefur complains of leaving a plump mouse behind in the elder's den. She refuses to go on without it, making a big fuss. Longtail, wanting her to just leave camp, turns back to fetch it. Briarpaw (Who becomes Briarlight soon after) dashes after him, trying to stop him. They made it into the den just as the tree toppled, crushing the bush serving as the elder's den. Longtail is killed by the fallen tree, and the back half of Briarpaw (light)'s body is underneath the tree. Briarpaw's happy life soon turns gray, as the hopes of recovery are crushed by the truth: She probabaly will never recover. Yet she does recover is the book "The last hope" (I think) She is in Great condition and can drag around her backlegs and helps Jayfeather around the Med den.
