The drug, Straterra does not cause an increase in the sensitivity to the sun. If anything , it seems to helps one tolerate the sun even more. I take 120mgs of this drug daqily and also ride my bike aqn average of two to three hours in the very intense Florida sun and have noticed that I am NOT as susceptible to sunburning as once I formerly was. During the past week, for example, after greater than fifteen hours of direst sun exposure there is reddish-tannishness to my skin, not burned but completely normal with no sunblockage agent usage at all.

For a sulfa prescription, I would recommend including the auxiliary labels "Take with plenty of fluids" to encourage hydration and reduce the risk of crystalluria, and "May cause sun sensitivity" to alert the patient about the potential for increased photosensitivity and the need for sun protection.
