Absolutely the contrary will take place in that Suboxone will completely displace the opiates out of your system within one day. This stuff is a miracle drug for those serious about beating their demons with opiates as there will be zero withdrawls on day one.

∙ 13y agoIf you are taking opiates... vicodin, methadone, morphine, etc., do Not take suboxone. Suboxone is an opiate blocker and will throw u into major withdrawals. DO NOT take suboxone if you have taken an opiate.
Suboxone itself will not show a positive opiate result cause it's an opiate blocker not an opiate, but u have to wait 72 hrs. After your last opiate dose before you take suboxone or like I said it will throw you into major withdrawals!
I suggest going to a methadone clinic and then you can take your opiates legally!
