Well according to my calcs. Btw I am a zooplankton and I like the color yellow. My ancestors are bees. If you put the two together my ancestors are bees and I like yellow; therefore, bees like yellow.
As far as yellow being attractive to bees, They don't appear to be attracted to that any more than any other color. Remember, a bee's color vision isn't the same as ours: they can't see red but they can see well into the ultraviolet part of the spectrum which is invisible to us, so to them everything will look completely different. Yellow is one of the most invisible colors of the spectrum, because bees see in ultraviolet light they are more attracted to yellow.
