Nothing, Posi-Track is a brand name (GM), limited slip is what it is. Kind of like Kleenex is to facial tissue.
Z28's came with a limited slip differential. Trans Ams had posi-traction.
It can if it was ordered new with one or installed later on.
It depends on the application. Posi is good for straight track racing, or good traction while off-roading, but wears out tires fast on curves and turns.
Better traction because both wheels are receiving power from the engine .
Not all z28s have posi, I own a 83 and I does. It have posi. But you can buy a lock and it makes it posi.
my 95 is posi !!
Yes most manufacturers recommend a diff gear oil if dif is a posi
205 at flywheel but it is really like 170 rear wheels (RS means you have posi-track)horsepower.
You buy a posi-trac rear differential.
Yes, a 2000 Trans Am does have posi traction. If a car has posi traction, it means that the car has a limited slip differential. Posi traction is good to have when traveling in ice or mud.
