street
Vehicles use more gas on the street and less on the highway. Unless they are hybrids. Hybrids use more on the highway than the street.
V8 289- 17 Street, 21 Highway Straight 6 170- 19 street, 23 Highway
Because the engine need more gas to generate more power, but this is wrong, should not happen......, is a fuel injected car or uses a carburetor ????
If it is a 4.3 then it will get around 17 street and 21 or 22 highway
The Gas mileage for this car is 14 in city 21 to 22 highway.
its not too bad.. right now im getting 15 street and 24 highway, which isn't too bad for a v8 automatic. V8s are gas gusllers and if you had a stick you would get 2-3 mpg better on highway and street
Yes, the Cadillac STS will get good gas mileage on the highway. It does however have a reputation for unreliability so another more reliable car would be a better choice.
I still get 19 in the center city and 27 on the highway with fifteen years on the car. It's surprising how well it does on the highway for such a big, comfortable car.
If you run out of gas on the highway you could be hit by another car. If you run out of gas just around a bend you could also be hit by another car or cause an accident whne another car swerves to avoid hitting you.
The best car right now for gas mileage is the Toyota Prius. This vehicle has outstanding gas mileage. It gets 44 gallons in highway miles and 40 gallons for city driving.
it would cost 10 cents per mile
They can be on their until you run out of gas, then simply fill up your car and get back on the highway.
No. Well at least that is the intent. The gas savings may be difficult to calculate, as the car is more efficient (uses the battery more often) with stop and go city traffic and will use gas more often for highway travel. The gas savings are also difficult to evaluate as there are many designs of the hybrid cars. See related link.
