a leaf doesnt reproduce, the flower of the leaf does


This answer is slightly confusing. Some leaves can be used in propogation like begonia or African Violet. Leaves do not have flowers, plants do, and from them we get seeds.

A flower cannot reproduce with itself. The pollen it has inside of it, needs to land on a another flower to reproduce.
