under handbrake.lift up plastic cover below
just below the handbrake lever with an odd shaped cover which will need lifting up with a small screw driver (zafira A)
diesel 20 ltr, oil filter is situated at the front of the engine underneath the Black plastic engine cover. remove cover and look down the front of the engine were you will see the top of the oil filter housing, ( you will need a 36mm socket to undo this cap) once removed lift out the oil filter and replace with new. genuine Vauxhall filter comes compleate with new o ring seals. easy job with minimal oil spilage.
On most: It is under the silver cover saying "eco tec". It is screwed to the top of the engine, directly over the plugs. It is about a foot long, 2 inches wide, black, with an electrical connector on the N/S (left of the car, right as you look at it).
on the engine at the left hand side just below the cover
bottom engine cover
it should be under the right hand side of the engine cover!
Not sure what you mean by "engine diagram". Do you need the wiring around the engine,or a line drawing of the engine itself? Vauxhall CD manuals on e-bay for a few pounds should cover your needs I think.
its in 3 places 1 on the dash (ns) on a plate normally near tax disc 2 on the drivers b pillar post on a sticker 3 under an inspection cover in the floor of the drivers side
PCV normally means "Positive Crankcase Ventilation (Valve)." Assuming that is the PCV you refer to, it is an integral part the the rocker/camshaft cover, and is part of the plastic/metal cover that is the top part of the engine, (rather than the removable plastic cover that is there to make it look nice) on most if not all Vauxhalls. If it is making an annoying whistle noise it is not doing any harm, and as such is up to the owner to pay to replace, as it is annoying rather than dangerous or environmentally harmful.
The oil pan.
Remove 2 bolts in front on the bottom of the engine cover. Remove 2 Phillips bolts in the ash tray area. and lastly there are two latches toward the back of the cover....one on each side. You then pull the bottom of the engine cover toward the rear and tilt the top out slowly. It's easy.
