A canine is only pregnant for 62 - 65 days so trying to start it yourself is a bad idea. Even if the puppies come a day or two to early the results can be devastating. Now to answer your question... I know in humans a bath can relax you and get things going if you are close to your due date. The water also stimulates the milk glands which has the effect of causing contractions. I know some women will stimulate their breasts by expressing milk every few minutes to start the labour process and I can't see how it would be any different for a dog. This is the safest way to help bring on labour. However, I don't know anyone who is so desperate that they would play with their dogs nipples to get their dog to go into labour.
No there is no safe way to induce a dogs labor since they have a range of different gestation periods. Getting your dog to have them even a couple days early could be devestating. So if your dogs is overdue you should let a veterinarian do it.
yes i helps the dog give labor
Drinking vinegar to induce labor is an old wives tale and will not work. It is not recommended to try to induce labor by any methods.
ONLY a Veterinarian should give oxytocin to your dog in labor. If you are doing it yourself, you could literally blow out the uterus so do NOT do it yourself, only with your Veterinarian. It is not for labor pain but to induce contractions of the uterus.
Only a Vet, with medication, could induce labor in a cat. Cats are natural mothers and will go into labor when the time is right.
doesn't a cow require lutalyse and dexamethasone to induce labor?

This application is not scientifically confirmed.
I think it can
No
Although most things you will read online or hear are just "wives's tales," and will do nothing, it is best to not even attempt to induce labor as many other factors are involved and inducing labor before conditions are idea can lead to many disastrous consequences, such as uterine prolapse. If a qualified veterinarian feels labor should be induced in the animals current condition and there is sufficient cervical space for delivery, a simple inexpensive injection of a drug such as oxytocin is usually administered by one of the the veterinary staff. This is often sufficient to induce labor in most cases and is an easy needle poke for the dog.
Yes, but don't drink it.
