My Camry leaked around a vent in the rear guards it is behind the rear bumper and the carpet in boot covers - hope this helps
My 97 Toyota Camry LE has 168k on it and it runs like brand new.... no problems at all in its history. If you keep your Camry well maintained you can get an easy 250 - 275k out of it.
There should be 2 access plugs on each side in the trunk. Remove the bolts and slide the bumper out. Maybe a foot in from each side.
