Alot of these motors are automatic mixing motors but if yours is not the normal ratio is 6oz of oil to every gallon of gas.
1 gal gas + 2cycle engine oil
The fuel mixture for a Yamaha 40 hp 2 stroke outboard engine is 50:1, gas, oil mixture. You should use new gas when you get the engine ready for the season.
Unleaded....mixture is 50:1 with 2cycle oil in 2 a stroke engine. 4 strokes do not require you to mix fuel
I have mine running at 30:1 it runs great with no oil injection system anymore

The Yamaha TTR125 uses a fuel mixture of gasoline and two-stroke engine oil. The manufacturer's recommendation for the mixing ratio is typically around 32:1 or 40:1, depending on the model year. It's important to follow the correct mixing ratio to ensure proper engine lubrication and performance.
To richen the mixture on a Yamaha SH50, you should turn the carb adjustment screw out (counterclockwise). This allows more fuel to enter the mixture, resulting in a richer fuel-to-air ratio. Conversely, turning it in (clockwise) would lean out the mixture. Always make small adjustments and test the engine's performance after each change.
Bad fuel mixture, jets, carb adjustment. try to keep engine reved high
The engine backfiring at idle, and at slightly off idle speeds is indicative of a lean fuel/air mixture. Try enriching your fuel mixture.
Yes, the Yamaha Tri-Moto 175 requires a gas-oil mixture for proper operation, as it has a two-stroke engine. Typically, a mixture of 32:1 or 50:1 gas-to-oil ratio is recommended, depending on the specific model and condition. Always refer to the owner's manual for the exact specifications to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the engine.
To adjust the carburetor on a 50cc Yamaha, locate the adjustment screws—typically the idle and mixture screws. Start by warming up the engine, then adjust the idle screw to achieve a stable idle speed. Next, fine-tune the mixture screw by turning it slowly while listening for the engine's response; aim for the highest RPM before richening the mixture. Always refer to the specific model's service manual for detailed instructions and specifications.
All the Origin motors have a Petrol/gas:oil ration of 50:1 That is 1litre of oil to 50 litres of Petrol
