No is the simple answer but he does lose an eye. Having said that in "The Wish," they are in alt. universe where he is a vampire and gets killed by Buffy in the big fight at the end of the ep.
im thinking season seven. if you are talking about the thing that attacked willow and Buffy and xander couldn't see her. The thing that ate her skin? if so the episode is episode 3 season seven: same place, same time.
yes No. Buffy almost kisses him in "When She Was Bad," while trying to make Angel jealous. They almost kiss in "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered," when Buffy is influenced by a spell. In season 8, there is some ambiguity as to who kisses Buffy in order to wake her in "The Long Way Home" but the general consensus seems to be that it is Satsu, not Xander. (When she wakes up she says "Cinnamon Buns!" and it is later revealed that Satsu is wearing cinnamon bun flavored lip gloss).
The first vampire slayer was a girl named Sineya (as far as I know, her name is only mentioned once on-screen, when Willow, Giles, and Xander invoked the Enjoining Spell at the end of Season 4).Unlike all subsequent Slayers, Sineya's power came from being bound directly to a shadow demon by a trio of shaman. Thus she was notably stronger and faster than other Slayers, but far less "human".(There is a graphic novel titled Tales of the Slayers, which details the origins of the First Slayer; the story is briefly told in an episode of the final season of Buffy as well.)
