simple answer, yes - the planet can be too far from our earth.so they and we can not go to each others planet.we do not have technology to go so far in the universe.there is a planet kepler22 in which life can exist.

Yes, some of the others have atmospheres that would sustain some life forms, just not that similar to ours. This is assuming you mean planets in our Milky
