Does ash's gible ever evolve

It may evolve after a battle with volkner, I'm not sure. I think gible will evolve only once though because did anyone besides me that ash's 6th Pokemon always is weak in the beginning and then will become a powerhouse later on? Some Pokemon that follow this are: snorunt-glalie(unable to execute ice beam correctly) gligar-gliscor(has a fear of hights)(cannot control it's flying) Phanphy-donphan(baby)

Gible does not evolve when ash battles volkner it wasn't used when he battled volkner he doesn't even master draco meteor until the 4th round of the pokemon league anyways it mastered it like this conway's shuckle was going to use the sludge bomb and gible bit shuckle and ash told it to then shuckle sludge bombed gible when gible bit it and ash told gible to blast it out with draco meteor and it worked it turned into like 1,000 little meteors and none hit piplup so piplup your head won't fall off!! :-)

Yes. He helps a Gible learn Draco Meteor and then it joins him.
