caffeine does not does so. it was just a myth. scientific studies have shown that the affect on caffeine on children is same as that in adults. no such growth reduction happens. prolonged consumtion of caffiene by some energy drinks causes some adverse affectrs for which it(energy drinks containing caffeine) has been banned in some schools.
