"A cat's brain is similar to a humans, except a human has more developed frontal lobes, which allow us to have more in-depth emotional, language, and reasoning skills."
this is not true. the frontal lobe is not responsible for emotion or language it is responsible for behaviour (it provides feedback on what is "social" appropriate or not, basically it is the frontal lobe that regulates "right from wrong").
Language is the function of the temporal lobe as well as memory. the Parietal lobe is the analytic center of the brain not the frontal lobe. Emotion is a function of the Limbic system which is in the center of the brain and connects the temporal lobe to the frontal lobe (behaviour with memories).
This information is easily obtained by studying the effects of Alzheimer's and other degenerative diseases on the human brain as the disease is gradual and allows to see the effects as each brain system is affected.
A cats' brain is located in the exact same place as us, the head.
In the chest, just like humans. Cuddle closely with your cat and put your hand on their chest, you should be able to hear/feel it.
In its head, just like with us. It's a lot less complex than our brain, though, especially the part for conscious thought is quite small, but the smell centers are much larger.
you mean do cats have brains, and of course they do. x
Any kind of animal can get brain damage. Did the cat have a head injury of some kind? It may need to be taken to the vet, there could be hemorrhaging (bleeding of the brain).
There is an oil in the plant that catnip originates from that cats are extremely susceptible to. The smell of the catnip, or the plant, causes cats to behave in a certain manner. Therefore, catnip becomes a natural addition for cats.
The cranium is your brain. It is located inside your head and it thinks and tells your body what to do. :)
Yes, it is located in their head behind their eyes.
It's head. The brain is about the size of a walnut on a 12 foot American alligator, but it's well developed.
The number of cranial nerves that a cat have is 12. The cranial nerves are mostly located at the cats brain.
Cats are mammals like us, so the brain is located in their head, the same as with all vertebrates.
a stegasauruses brain is as big as a cats brain
Replace them for cats. Cats are peaceful creatures, and won't get brain traumas. JW70
Of course they have feelings. Cats have a limbic brain, responsible for emotions.
The mind is located in the brain. The brain is located in the head of a person or animal.
The higher centers in the brain are located in the cerebrum.
It's located in the medial temporal lobe in the brain. Hope it helps! :)
Cat's are located all over the globe. Lynx are located in Cold countries, such as siberia. and Tigers are located in Thailand. Lions are located in southern Africa and pet cats are just everywhere, but the wild cats are mostly in Italy and places in Africa.
The cranial nerves are located outside of the brain and skull. These nerves come right from the brain and brain stem.
Besides there fur colour or design all cats have the same size of brain
Fed it to the their pets(cats, dogs).
