Depends on the pH of the water but it would dissolve faster in fresh water because there isn't as much stuff in solution.
true... but it took me about 8.30 seconds to dissolve with the perfect pH.....
Chalk dissolves faster in vinegar than it does oil. While vinegar is a weak acid, it is strong enough to quickly dissolve the calcium sulfate in the chalk.
Chalk contains calcium carbonate , carbonate are highly reactive towards acids so chalk dissolves faster in vinegar due to its acidic nature.
I'm pretty sure salt won't dissolve in salt.
no
Iodized salt, due to its relatively smaller crystal size. The smaller the salt crystals, the faster they will dissolve.
no it do not water dissolve faster.
Vinegar is a polar solvent and salt is a polar solute. Therefore vinegar dissolves salt. Plus, salt's are very soluable and will almost always completely disassociate when added to water(you vinegar isn't 100% vinegar, there's also lots of plain water than salt can dissolve in.)
Crushed salt will dissolve faster as it has a larger surface area providing more contact with the water.
will the dum dum dissolve faster in salt water or sugar or just water
The particles in Sugar are much more loosely spread than the particles in Salt. Because of this, Vinegar breaks down Sugar faster than Salt. You should find this with most liquids, not just vinegar.

Salt.
Sugar should dissolve faster in a liquid.

Sugar does dissolve in vinegar. Sugar dissolves in vinegar because vinegar is a mild acid and it eats away at the solid sugars and dissolves. Vinegar dissolves the sugar faster than water does.
the salt will dissolve in the vinegar and the penny will get really clean well if it dirty
salt dissolve faster in hot water
Yes, it dissolves but i dont know how. Yes, it dissolves but i dont know how.
Vinegar is more acidic than water (which ideally is perfectly neutral), so the M&M would dissolve more quickly in the vinegar.
Crushed salt will dissolve faster as it has a larger surface area providing more contact with the water.
