Actually, not at all, depending on how you handle it. Mind over matter.

But typically, the injection itself feels like a toothpick poking your skin, and it really doesn't hurt. Just a quick pinch.

The next day or two, you may have a small headache and some stiffness in your arm, but as along as you ease it, it shouldn't be a problem.

Definitly not. Biting your tongue hurts like H3ll.

A shot is far more scary than actually painfull. If you are referring to an injection that is. If you mean getting shot with a gun, I'd go for biting my tongue instead. I have been told by though and strong men that being shot by a gun hurts very, very much. And they wouldn't use those terms lightly.

The thought of it hurts more than the actual shot. They will use a swab to put something on your gum to numb it before the actual shot. It is uncomfortable but not all that bad. For me the most uncomfortable is when they have to work on your front teeth but, even that, doesn't hurt as bad as the thought of it.

Not if the dentist or hygientist is gentle and uses a topical on the gums before the injection.

Does the gardisel shot hurt?

The Gardasil shot hurts worse than almost any other shot I can think of. I got all three rounds of Gardasil last year. I got three other shots at the time of the first Gardasil (flu shot, tetanus shot, and meningitis), and the first Gardasil hurt worse than any of them. The second shot hurt worse than the first one, and the third one hurt worse than the second and the first one. It is worth it though, cancer is even worse. If you are getting the Gardasil shots, ask the nurse or doctor to inject a local anesthesia before the actual vaccine so that it doesn't hurt as bad.
