Same as getting the first lobe piercing done. It varies from person to person but generally, lobes aren't too bad :)

Yes, puncturing the ear lobe hurts, but only for a brief period of time.

Well it all depends on how you handle pain. I handle pain good so mine didn't hurt. When my Helix is healed i am getting my second ear lobe holes and then after that i am getting my industrial piercing with is a bar across your ear. (cartilage piercing). If it hurts to get your helix done don't get another cartilage piercing don't get an industrial if you ever want it cause it goes through your ear twice so its twice the pain.

Your ear lobe is the dangly bit it the bottom of your ear that you can ben and that. The Cartalage is the rest of your ear above the lobe. I have both pierced so if your looking for piercing advice, the lobe dosent hurt at at all, but the cartalage is quite sore and throbs for like 2 hours after getting it done. Piercing the lobe yourself is easy but your better to get the cartalage done profesionaly.

I got mine done yesterday, and i thought pain wise, it feels the same as a lobe.

it is possible, any piercing can, but my ear lobe peircing didnt cause me to have fever.

It is a tolerable quick pinch but more irritating then a ear lobe piercing.

Not Badly at all. I got mine done yesterday and it was almost completley painless. It hut much less then my triple cartilage piercing or my double lobe.

If you have a professional piercing it then no it will not hurt.Answer: In the hands of a professional body piercer it's a simple and safe procedure, however this is not a ear lobe, there are plenty of things that can happen that you have no control over. So leave body piercing to professionals, this is not a Saturday afternoon hobby and people have been seriously hurt attempting to do there own piercing.

It depends what kind of piercing your getting My nextdoor neighbor is 9 and she has her upper eat and her ear lobe pierced you need your parents there if you are under 18 to get it pierced

Usually they take what is called a piercing gun and they will clean the ear, then mark where you want it, if it is satisfactory they will place a piercing in the gun put it on you're ear and pull the trigger. It doesn't hurt much more than a hard pinch, but remember the higher you're piercing is the more it will hurt.

Usually, yes. Some piercers pierce through scar tissue and others dont. For a lobe piercing, most will though.

It really depends on where your getting the ear piercing. Tragus, industrial or uncommon ear piercings hurt more then the belly button. If were talking normal lobe piercings, belly hurts more :)

It's pretty popular, at least in North America. Having a second earring no longer has a bad girl stigma like it once did. Girls are doing it younger and women are getting them older... It can look classy.

As far as I know, lobe piercings.

Depends on how well you tolerate pain. I have a tattoo on my upper back and the navel piercing hurt a lot more. It takes about 30 seconds to do the piercing and put the ring in, but there's a really sharp pain. And it continues to be a little sore afterward.I personally do not think they hurt much more than a ear lobe piercing, i had mine done in June and I thought it hurt much more than it did, it is worth the pain though :)Hope this helped

It depends on how much pain you can endure. Getting a piercing on your lobe doesn't hurt too much while you're getting it, however its usually after when it hurts a little. Cartilages you may need to numb your ear for because its your cartilage so its like thin bone. The aftermath is painful but it eases everyday. I cannot tell you about tragus because I've never gotten one but it should be similar to a cartilage but it might hurt more.

No! It's not too young. That's the perfect age. Get it now and you will be so cool! I promise

Ive had my ear lobe pierced for about 12 weeks, and it just started not getting swollen and sore about 4 weeks ago. So id say about 4-7 weeks

It really doesn't hurt very bad. But when its pierced you will hear a good "pop" or "crunch" sound (which most piercing junkies like myself think is funny) My advice though is to make sure to have it pierced in a tattoo or piercing parlor which uses one use sterilized needles NOT a piercing gun. It will hurt less and heal much, much better. What most shops that use piercing guns probably wont tell you is that the gun is actually not intended for any piercing other than lower lobe.

As you progress in your piercings from the lobe up the ear I would recommend getting the second and consecutive holes done by needle piercing in the hands of a professional body piercer. See inside the lobe moving up the ear there is a fine feather line of cartilage which gets thicker and denser as you progress up the ear, at some point you will need to start over gauge piercing to ensure the piercings will heal correctly without discomfort from the cartilage inside the tissue.

Some people think that a right lobe ear piercing on a guy means they're gay.

I have placed a link for you in the Related Links below that will walk you through caring for your ear lobe piercing.

i actually just got mine done at my friends house, she did it for me, its the same as a second whole piercing because it is still in the lobe area, but my ears are really small so it almost touches my cartilage so it pinches a lil... hope this helps:)

Yes. She has 10 piercings. -On the left ear: she has 3 lobe piercings, & 2 cartilage piercing. -On the right ear: lobe piercings on the right ear & 1 cartilage piercing. -Belly piercing. -Nose pierced, on the right side.
