Does getting 4 teeth pulled at the same time hurt?

no...i had 2 of my teeth pulled out the other day so I could have a brace fitted it didn't hurt me at all. the dentist will numb your mouth first you shouldn't feel any pain. hope this helped :)

The process in itself is not painful, especially because you are getting 4 of them removed, you are most likely going to be put under general anesthesia. When you wake up your face will be numb, I personally though my lower lip was a giant piece of gauze, the numbness will wear off after 5-6 hours in which case you will experience some discomfort.

Okay, I know people say, "some discomfort" and its a really vague term so I will try to describe it to you. I am currently on my second day, and the pain I felt the first day I would relate to being punched in face a few times. Your bruised and a bit swollen but its not unbearable. You also have holes in the sides of your mouth so you are bleeding and the gauze will help you from swallowing too much of your blood. I would recommend you place a teabag soaked in warm water in between the gauze. The tannic in the tea will help your blood cells clot so you stop bleeding. Do no rinse the first day, rinse your mouth the second day with warm water and a teaspoon of seasalt. Do this frequently, it will speed up the healing process, and don't actively swish the water around in your mouth, just tilt your head around you don't want to dislodge the clot that has formed in the holes. You will be prescribed either vicodin/or a generic brand of it and some ibuprofren and that will help alot. Just remember not to take too much vicodin, it can become addicting and face the risk of several complications if you take too much. For example, you could bleed into your stomach and damage your liver, I would recommend that you alternate the drugs 1 day of vicodin and another day of ibuprofren.

Okay back to the pain part, I will try another analogy in case the first felt insufficient to you. I am sure as a child you have had your tooth pulled before, you get the similar feeling, except this time you will experience more bleeding the pain will be similar except it will be in your jaws. If you don't remember this feeling its as if you took your hands and pinched the inside of your mouth where your wisdom teeth are. Its a dull, constant pain, at certain points, like when you are rinsing, it will sting but nothing intolerable. Good luck , I am on my second day myself and it has almost stopped bleeding completely, and I am at work now! So you should be fine.

Drink lots of liquids the first day, and eat cold food it tastes GREAT. Soups are fine but having it too hot makes me feel uncomfortable. I am currently on a diet of jello, mashed potatoes, 7up, and ice cream.
