Well in the 75th Hunger Games arena, Johanna helped Katniss leave the arena alive leaving herself behind to be captured by the Capitol. In Mockingjay, Katniss devises a plan to save all the captured Victors consisting of Peeta, Johanna, Annie Cresta (district 4) and Enobaria (district 2). She is then saved by a group that includes Gale. She returns and is immediately sent to hospital for treatment. Later on in the book, Johanna and Katniss develope more of a relationship become friends after Katniss returns from District 2 after being shot. After a few chapters, Johanna is no longer a talking character, but instead is only mentioned every now and then.

∙ 9y agoI believe you mean Johanna Mason. No, they don't but due to her fear of water (which she gained when she was captured by the Capitol and they used torture methods involving water), she doesn't pass the text to join a squad (Squad 451 in particular).

∙ 9y agoIn Mockingjay Johanna is saved from the capitol and her hair is shaved off during the time the capitol was torturing her. Other than that nothing else bad happens to her. :)
